The National Health Insurance Management Authority NHIMA, says the suspension of accreditation for Private Health Care Providers is still in effect.
NHIMA last month suspended accreditation for Private Health Care Providers with immediate effect.
NHIMA Head Public Relations King Syacika says the authority has continued to receive applications for accreditation under NHIMA from Private Health Care Providers.
“The authority will officially notify the public once the suspension is lifted and a call for applications will be made publicly in line with required services,” said Mr. Syacika in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
He however said that the suspension will not affect the private health care providers that are already providing NHIMA services to the public.
