National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC) has encouraged Zambians to take interest in visiting the country’s Heritage sites and learn more about Zambia’s history.
Zambia has over 100 national monuments and over 4000 heritage sites across the country.
NHCC site Manager, Sheila Chaila, says the Heritage sites and the National Monuments are easily accessible with very minimal entry fee.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News at Mumbwa Caves, Ms. Chaila said the Heritage sites, as well as the national Monument, have rich history for the country that people, especially the young ones can learn from.
“Take time to visit the sites so that you know where you are coming from and know where you are going,” encouraged Ms. Chaila.
