The National Action for Quality Education in Zambia (NAQEZ) has urged the Teaching Service Commission working with the Ministry of Education to expedite the process of recruiting teachers before the end of the year.
NAQEZ Executive Director, Aaron Chansa, says stakeholders and expectant teachers are aware of the process to be used to conduct the recruitment process, calling for the recruiters to speed up the process.
Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka, Dr. Chansa has however wondered why the process has taken long despite monies being allocated for the process in the 2024 National budget.
“NAQEZ also calls for inclusiveness and transparency during the recruitment process,” said Dr. Chansa.
