MISA Zambia Chairperson Lauren Mwanza says media practitioners are key stakeholders in information dissemination on various issues affecting the country and should be honored.
Ms. Mwanza was speaking in Lusaka today, When she officially launched the MISA Zambia 22nd platinum and golden media awards.
She said that the media should be celebrated for making a difference in challenges times.
“The awards are not just accolades, but they are a statement to the hard work of media professionals who strive to bring out the truth,” said Ms. Mwanza.
And PANOS Institute Southern Africa Executive Director Vusumuzi Sifile says the media play a big role to facilitate different engagement of stakeholders in the development of the country.
