LTE PARTNERS WITH CNC360 TO ENHANCE DIGITAL LITERACY FOR SMES

Liquid Intelligent Technology has today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CNC360 consulting Limited to increase digital literacy to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

The digital literacy services will provide opportunities including business capacity building, information sharing and innovative business solutions for SMEs and Cooperatives.

Speaking during the signing ceremony in Lusaka today, Liquid Intelligent Technology Chief Executive Officer, Mark Townsend said he is delighted with the partnership that will support the growth of the economy through digital literacy to SMEs.

Mr. Townsend said the collaboration will also support SMEs against cyberbullying as most businesses are now operating under the digital space.

He has urged SMEs to engage with the two entities under the collaboration and see how they can manage business online.

And CNC360 Director Sales and Marketing, James Chiwala said the Consulting company is confident that with the partnership will see more SMEs and Cooperatives acquiring digital literacy that will help them in their businesses.

Mr. Chiwala said the initiative is one of the ways which will bridge the digital divide and improve the skills sets of small businesses and Cooperatives so that they can thrive in the ever-growing digital economy and contribute to Zambia’s economic growth.

Speaking at the same event, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Permanent Secretary, Subeta Mutelo said government will remain committed to supporting institutions promoting SMEs and cooperatives across all sectors.

“There is need to work together to remove barriers and provide support where needed,” said Mrs. Mutelo.

She said this in a speech read on her behalf by Ministry Director Business and grants Kennedy Mumba.
