KANYAMA’S ROSS BREEDERS ROAD TO BE PAVED

The Lusaka City Council (LCC) has handed over the site to the contractor for the paving of Ross Breeders Road in Kanyama’s Munkolo Ward.

The project, earmarked for completion within a two-month timeframe is funded under the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a total cost of K800,000.

Speaking during the handover of the site, Munkolo Ward Councillor, Evans Kaliko, said the project will significantly improve road networks in the ward, facilitating easier movement of people, goods and services.

Mr. Kaliko highlighted that residents in the area have previously struggled to use the road during the rainy season due to flooding.

He expressed appreciation for the government’s CDF initiative, which he said has enhanced the quality of community projects, including road infrastructure and improved residents’ lives.

Meanwhile, Kays Construction Limited, the contracted company, has pledged to deliver high-quality work and complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.

And a local resident, Boniface Likela welcomed the decision to pave the road, noting that it would greatly ease movement for residents.
