Kamfinsa Member of Parliament, Christopher Kang’ombe, has expressed disappointment with the lack of clarity from government on the energy crisis in the country.
Mr. Kang’ombe said this in Lusaka today when he featured on Christian Voices’ chatback program on the topic, “Is the 2025 budget addressing challenges affecting Zambians”.
He said the Ministry of Energy through ZESCO has failed to inform the nation on how many hours customers will receive electricity, following the announcement of stable supply of power starting yesterday.
“ZESCO has also failed to inform the nation on the exact megawatts of power being exported,” said Mr. Kang’ombe.
He has criticised ZESCO for taking the nation on a ride with its inefficiencies.
