President Hakainde Hichilema has hailed the late Zambia’s 5th President, Micheal Chilufya Sata, for his developmental agenda which lay in the decentralization policy.
President Hichilema was speaking in Lusaka today, during Mr. Sata’s 10th memorial service, held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.
President Hichilema said his administration stands on the shoulders of the past leaders and that he will work to realize Mr. Sata’s vision by developing the 29 new districts he created.
“CDF is part of fulfilling Mr. Sata’s vision for decentralization,” said President Hichilema.
He hailed Mr. Sata for understanding the role of the local government in spearheading development.
And President Hichilema appreciated Mr. Sata’s message of love and said he celebrates him for whatever he did for Zambia.
