GOV’T URGED TO STAY AWAY FROM PF WRANGLES

Opposition Patriotic Front (PF) Information and Publicity Chairperson, Emmanuel Mwamba, has  urged government through state agencies to protect democracy by NOT supporting what he called “illegal activities” of PF faction leader, Robert Chabinga.

Amb. Mwamba said this when he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program on the topic, “ National Matters”.

He said state functions such as the police, and parliament have continued to recognize Mr. Chabinga as party president, despite a court order baring him from posing as party president.

“The PF is the largest opposition  political party and  the state should only recognize legally appointed members,” said Amb. Mwamba.

And Amb. Mwamba has urged Zambians to disregard the recent expulsion of key PF members last weekend by Mr. Chabinga, saying the process did not follow party producers.
