Minister of Youth, Sport, and Arts, Elvis Nkandu, has reaffirmed government’s commitment to promoting sports development in Zambia, welcoming innovative products that encourage public participation.
Speaking at the launch of a new sports beverage by Big Tree Beverages Limited in Lusaka yesterday, Mr. Nkandu emphasized government’s dedication to supporting initiatives that enhance athletic performance and community wellness.
“The government is committed to ensuring that athletes excel both locally and internationally by backing initiatives from stakeholders such as Big Tree Beverages Limited and this new sports beverage will contribute to the wellness and nutrition, aligning with the Ministry’s mission of promoting health and well-being of communities,” said Mr. Nkandu.
He further commended Big Tree Beverages for its investments in the future of Zambian sports, noting that such initiatives directly contribute to the development of young athletes.
And speaking during the event, Trade Kings Group Manager for Public Relations and Corporate Affairs, Bridget Kambobe, highlighted the company’s dedication to producing high-quality Zambian products that promote health and well-being.
