Opposition Citizens First Party President Harry Kalaba has urged government to prioritize the suffering of the Zambian people by finding solutions to the current high cost of living.
Speaking during a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Kalaba said yesterday’s press conference by President Hakainde Hichilema should have been an opportunity to address issues of national advancement which include solutions towards climate change which has not spared the country.
“The job of the President is to take care of his citizens”, said Mr. Kalaba.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kalaba has called on President Hichilema to be the lead unifier who will ensure that all actions by both the ruling and opposition parties are about unity.
He said all those issuing tribal sentiments should be punished regardless of their political affiliation.
