Minister of Technology and Science, Felix Mutati, has commended 73 Health Organisation for the implementation of the remote health diagnostics aimed at improving the quality of health care service delivery for the people of Zambia.
Mr. Mutati says any health delivery system rests on three pillars which are affordability, access and quality which must be addressed as a nation by deployment of appropriate technology including AI.
Speaking at the launch of the remote Health diagnostics in Lusaka today, Mr. Mutati stressed that technology needs to be applied as a nation in order to understand the functionality of the innovation implemented to help citizens access medical help remotely.
“Delivery of the remote health diagnostics innovation needs to be done practically to reach out to every Zambian including those in rural areas,” said Mr. Mutati.
He has called for cooperation between partnerships and sharing of opportunities as everyone deserves quality health care services even as technology continues to advance.
