GOVERNANCE ACTIVIST CALLS FOR URGENT NEED TO APPOINT ACC BOARD

Governance Activist, Davis Lupindula, has stressed the need to quicken the process of re- appointing the Anti-Corruption (ACC) Board.

The ACC has been operating without a board six months after it was dissolved by President, Hakainde Hichilema following corruption allegations.

But speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Mr. Lupindula said that the non-functioning of the board is undermining and affecting the fight against corruption in the country.

“From time to time, the director general at ACC has to consult the board before certain critical decisions are made, and the continued absence of the board is not good for cooperate governance”, said Mr. Lupindula.
