Economic Analyst , Yusuf Dodia, has urged government to leverage on its good relationship with the Chinese government, to facilitate for the revitalization of Zambia’s railway system.
Mr. Dodia says Zambia has been struggling to revitalise its railway system, a situation he said has put pressure on the road network.
Mr. Dodia has told RCV News that having an effective railway system will enable the country reduce on costs attached to the transportation of goods, that will in-turn reduce the prices of commodities on the market.
“Revitalizing the railway system will also ensure the lifespan of roads are prolonged to save government some money,” said Mr. Dodia.
