The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia EFZ has reminded the UPND government to prioritize the performance of the economy, even as they deliver on their campaign promises.
EFZ Executive Director Andrew Mwenda said this in Lusaka today, when he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program on the topic, “status of the economy”.
Bishop Mwenda says despite government scoring on free education and the massive recruitment in the public sector, the performance of the economy remains paramount to the ordinary Zambian.
“Issues of fuel, Mealie Meal prices and the high cost of doing business must be prioritized,” said Bishop Mwenda.
He said that gains the country has made in the education and other sectors will be overlooked, if the economy continues to struggle.
