COUNCIL OF CHURCHES CALLS FOR SOUND DOCTRINES

Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) General Secretary, ,Emmanuel Chikoya, has urged pastors and religious leaders to preach sound doctrines that foster a culture of love and peace in society.

Father Chikoya emphasized that 90% of people’s actions are influenced by their religious beliefs, making it essential for the clergy to uphold truthfulness in delivering the word of God.

Speaking in an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Father Chikoya also called for the promotion of peace within families, stating that a strong foundation of love and unity at home contributes to a harmonious society.

“Churches should focus on aligning the body, soul, and mind while encouraging people to deepen their prayer life,” said Father Chikoya.

He further stressed the need for individuals to be equipped with the word of God as it serves as a guide in promoting values of peace, unity, and spiritual growth.
