“The Chief Justice of Zambia, Mumba Malila, has today undergone a review at a hospital in South Africa and he is responding well to treatment,” Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services, Kennedy Lishimpi has said.
Chief Justice Mumba Malila was involved in a Road Traffic Accident on 30th August, 2024 in Lusaka, and was later evacuated to South Africa for treatment.
Updating the nation on the status of the Chief Justice at a Press Briefing in Lusaka today, Dr. Lishimpi said the Chief Justice has received appropriate treatment.
He said government will continue informing the public on Justice Malila’s health.
And Dr. Lishimpi said government is funding the treatment for the Chief Justice.
