CEEC SIGNS MoU WITH TURKISH FIRM

The Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission, CEEC, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ana Milling Systems, a Turkish milling machinery supplier, to provide affordable financing to Zambian enterprises for acquiring efficient milling plants and agricultural equipment.

The signing ceremony aimed at empowering Zambian small and medium enterprises, was graced by Zambia’s Ambassador to Turkey, William Sikazwe in Turkey.

Meanwhile, CEEC Director General,  Muwe Mungule, who led a high-level delegation in Turkey said the partnership forms part of the Commission’s Multi-Sectoral efforts to mitigate the adverse economic impact of the drought, declared a national disaster by the Zambian government.

He urged all eligible Zambian enterprises to capitalize on the opportunity and contribute to national economic resilience and development.

“Applicants can access details and forms at www.ceec.org.zm or nearest CEEC offices countrywide,” said Dr. Mungule.

Dr. Mungule encouraged cooperatives and companies interested in undertaking investments in Small Milling Plants, Agricultural Mechanization, Irrigation Systems, Solar Equipment and Generators to take advantage of the opened financing window.

“We are committed to creating an enabling environment for SME growth through technology transfer, skills development, and innovative financing mechanisms,” said Dr. Mungule.
