An organization based in Australia is scheduled to visit Zambia to foster collaboration and share smart agriculture and livestock management practices.
The Coalition for Conservation C4C, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, is focused on engaging with Zambian government officials, agricultural and livestock experts, and policymakers.
C4C Chief Executive Officer Cristina Talacko said the key objective of her organization is to establish stronger linkages by fostering collaborative relationships between Australia and Zambia.
“C4C will engage with policymakers, farmers, and industry representatives,” said Ms. Talacko in a statement.
Ms. Talacko disclosed that the delegation will focus on drought resilience, sustainable agricultural practices, and climate adaptation strategies.
And Zambia’s High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand, Elias Munshya said the visit represents an excellent opportunity to strengthen bilateral relations and work together towards enhancing food security and climate resilience in Zambia.
Dr. Munshya will lead the C4C delegation from June 24th to June 28th, 2024, in Zambia.
This is contained in a statement issued to RCV News by First Secretary Press at the Zambian high commission in Australia, Charles Mucholo.
