Battle Cry for Zambia Founder, O’brian Mayambu, has expressed concern on the high rate of divorce cases being recorded in the country.
Dr. Mayambu describes the divorce rates as alarming, emphasizing that addressing this issue requires a collective effort from all sectors of society, including the church.
In an interview with RCV News in Lusaka today, Dr. Mayambu urged the church to take a proactive role by providing counseling and raising awareness about the consequences of divorce for those entering marriage, in an effort to reduce the number of divorces.
“Divorce has harmful effects not only on the individuals involved but also on their families and the wider community,” said Dr. Mayambu.
