ACCESS BANK SUPPORTS LOCAL TOURISM INDUSTRY

Access Bank Zambia has partnered with Mfuwe Lodge in South Luangwa National Park, Mwamfushi Lodge and Mozhi Bush Camp in the Busanga plains in Kafue National Park and Ikithe Luxury Resort by Lake Makapaela in Western Province, to enhance tourism.

The purpose of the partnerships is to enable customers and Zambians see the beauty of the country through providing all expenses paid holiday packages to these destinations.

Access Bank Managing Director, Lishala Situmbeko, has since encouraged locals and residents to explore the beauty and richness that Zambia has to offer.

He observed that Zambia’s beauty and that of Africa is not seen by those who live in, and around the region, but by tourists from other continents.

Mr. Situmbeko however said Tourism plays an important role in sustaining the livelihoods of many in rural Zambia.

“Over and above this and in line with the Government’s drive to promote local tourism by spotlighting unconventional tourist destinations within Zambia,” said Mr. Situmbeko in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
