Glorious Bible Church Overseer, Benson Chisenga, has challenged government to abolish gambling in Zambia.
Bishop Chisenga said this in Lusaka today, When he featured on Christian Voices’ Chatback program on the topic, Gambling and Betting.
Bishop Chisenga said that gambling is not only a sin but a vice that negatively affects peoples’ approach to work.
“Betting in its entirety promotes laziness and greed,” said Bishop Chisenga.
And Bishop Chisenga has bemoaned the increased number of youths participating in gambling as opposed to venturing in constructive activities such as agriculture.
He said that the country will not develop if gambling is considered as a source of income.
