The Commuter Rights Association of Zambia (CRAZ) has raised serious concerns over reports of Yango drivers defrauding customers by charging them more than the amounts stipulated on the app.
This alarming trend has sparked outrage among commuters and prompted calls for immediate action to protect the public.
Speaking to RCV News in Lusaka, CRAZ President Aaron Kamuti expressed dismay over the growing number of complaints about Yango drivers not only overcharging but also exhibiting abusive behaviour toward customers.
“This is a crime and must not be condoned and such practices undermine trust in the online transportation system,” said Mr. Kamuti.
