The European Professional Golf Legends registration for the Zambia Golf Legends Championship has closed, with 60 European players confirmed to compete at the event from 12 to 18 August, 2024, at the Bonanza Golf Course, in Chongwe District.
Promoters of the Zambia Golf Legends Championship, Brand-Line Africa Communication Manager, Elina Phiri says the response from golfers across the world was thrilling.
Ms. Phiri says she looks forward to an exciting competition which will not only market Zambia as a tourist destination, but also spur knowledge and skills exchange between the local and international players.
“Notable names among those confirmed include Ian Woosman, Michael Campbell, Adilson Da Silva, James Kingston, Chris Baron, Philip Price and Peter Lawrie,” said Ms. Phiri in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today.
Zambia Golf Legends Championship is a five- day tournament, including a two day Pro -AM with slots open for local teams, a Junior Golf Clinic, and exclusive networking opportunities with the globally celebrated professionals.
