Zambia Revenue Authority, ZRA, Commissioner General Dingani Banda says Zambia wants to ensure that tourists have a single payment point at entry points in the country.
Mr. Banda said ZRA has established one payment point that enables tourists pay for all the services.
He said the Commission has started the automated border payment system that has led to MOUs being signed with various institutions which include the Road Transport and Safety Agency, RTSA, which means the collection point for toll fees will be at the boarder.
“Tourists can now use point of sale for their payments for various services”, said Mr Banda.
He said the Commission has also decided to introduce an automated clearing system that will shorten the amount of time, transporters take to clear their goods.
