Milenge Town Council has allocated over K3.7 million from the 2024 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to 39 beneficiary groups.
The loan disbursement program represents a major milestone for Milenge District aimed at boosting business growth and creating job opportunities.
“The beneficiaries of the loans, will have the chance to expand their businesses, create jobs and contribute to the economic upliftment of the district, said Deputy Permanent Secretary for Luapula Province, Prudence Mwansa.
Ms. Mwansa said these loans, the district will be equipped to unlock new opportunities, create lasting impacts and further contribute to the economic transformation of the Constituency.
The handover ceremony was held on Monday, October 7, 2024.
