The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development has approved 19 community projects valued at K17, 750, 444 for implementation in Nalolo District, using the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The Ministry has also approved a total of K954, 637 under the 2025 CDF disaster component to go towards the construction of a 1×3 classroom block at Namabunga Primary School.
Nalolo Council Public Relations Officer, Buttyson Kandimba, says the ministry has approved a total K3, 278, 013 allocated towards the procurement of fuel and other lubricants to rehabilitate selected feeder roads in Nalolo District.
“The community projects were submitted to the Provincial Local Government Office for approval in accordance with Section 25 (1) of the CDF Act number 1 of 2024,” said Mr. Kandimba in a statement issued to RCV News in Lusaka today,
Mr. Kandimba said that that among the community projects to be done this year include; construction of classroom blocks, maternity annexes, procurement of medical equipment for completed health facilities, construction of new clinics equipped with solar power system, water reticulation systems and procurement of desks.
