The Media Network on Child Rights and Development Executive Director Henry Kabwe has called for stiffer punishment on adults who sexually abuse children.
Zambia has continued to record cases of Sexual Gender Based violence.
But speaking when he featured on Christian Voice’s Chatback program in Lusaka today , Mr. Kabwe said that the law should be backed up with stiff punishments that will send warmings to would be offenders.
“It is unfortunate that some adults who sexually abuse children go scott free without facing the full wrath of the law “ said Mr. Kabwe.
Zambia today joins the rest of the world in commemorating world children’s day under the theme every child , every right.
