Opposition Zambia Must Proper President Kelvin Fube Bwalya has urged President Hakainde Hichilema to take advantage of this week visit to the Copperbelt and give a message of hope to the people on the future of mining in the region.

Mr. Bwalya says the province which largely depends on mining has been in suspense on the future of Mopani and Konkola Copper Mine KCM.

Mr. Bwalya has told Christian voice news that the President’s guidance on the two mines will instill confidence in the people of the Copperbelt that will be vital for the economy.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bwalya has condemned the president for attacking former president Edgar Lungu in his speech when he met party officials in Kitwe recently.
