A 63 year old man Man has died after being hit by a motorbike in Mpika district of Muchinga province.
Zambia Deputy Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga has disclosed that the Accident occurred Yesterday at 20:00hrs at Mufubushi area along Great North road 40km south of Mpika.
Mr. Hamonga said that the accident involved an unknown rider who was riding an unregistered motorbike and a pedestrian Edwin Bwalya of Kachela Village,who was crossing the road heading westwards.
He also said that the said pedestrian sustained head injuries and died at his residence today around 07:00hrs.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Chilonga Mission hospital mortuary.
