Minister of Information and Media Cornelius Mweetwa says Government will use quite diplomacy and looking for a win win situation over the handling of the Barotseland issue.
Addressing the media Mr. Mweetwa said the matter has not reached a stage where the issue has brought anarchy in the country.
He has clarified that there is no division or anarchy over the Barotseland issue, contrary to views that there is division over the issue.
He said Barotseland is living harmoniously with the rest of the country.
“There should be no requirement that Zambia makes a distress call to the African Union or United Nations because the matter is within the capacity of the country to resolve.
He said Zambia in accordance with the constitution remains a unitary state as the law is presently subsisting.
