Minister of Health Sylvia Masebo says government is working hard to decentralize the provision of health care services in all the 10 provinces of the country.

Ms. Masebo says the decentralization of health services will ensure that 60 to 70 % of patient needs are met at primary health care facilities.

Speaking when she officiated at the Czech Republican solutions for Zambian Healthcare workshop in Lusaka today, Ms. Masebo said that this will be mainly done through increasing human capital resource and ensuring medicines are readily available in health centers.

And. Ms. Masebo has also revealed that the Public-private partnerships will also extend to the health sector to bridge the gap between government and the private  in the health sector.
