Government has encouraged employers to facilitate for their employees to register as voters.
Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili explains that this is because Zambia is a Constitutional Democracy where the people have power to determine the destiny of the nation.
The minister has further called upon leaders at all levels such as the church, religious leaders, traditional leaders , Civic leaders and members of parliament to mobilize the people to register as voters.
