Minister of Mines and Mineral Development Richard Musukwa has clarified that no Chinese investor has bought konkola copper mines KCM.
Mr. Musukwa says there are 9 companies that have expressed interest in taking over the Mine comprising of Canadian firms, Turkish, Russians and Chinese.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today, Mr. Musukwa said that the bidding process for the takeover will start once due diligence is done by the firms.
